Yes you can select any optional subject in civil services examination.
Even you have to studied with physics also you can select geography subjects.
So,you have to prepare and must select optional subject only which you a good command subject.Because if you choose unknown subject then your life will effect.
So Becarefull on selection of subject which may effects score in mains examinations.

Yes,dear you are eligible for taking upsc exam.Because subject is not a boundary for upsc exam.

If you want to give the examination in UPSC then you can give the exams after graduation.

Your age for the UPSC exams must be in between 21-30 years.

you can choose any of the subjects for the mains.

There is no restriction for the candidate to choose any particular subjects.

You can choose any of the following subjects from the list of the subjects of UPSC

YES YOU CAN TAKE GEOGRAPHY AS OPTIONAL FOR MAINS.

There is no boundary regarding the selection of subjects in the UPSC civil exams,the UPSC civil exams has the eligibility criteria of graduation from any stream from a recognized university.Now then the candidates who have done their graduation in dance,arts,hotel management are also applicable but there are hardly any subject in the UPSC optional subjects list which match their subjects when they were in graduation.

The candidates can take any subject as per their wish,any of them no limitations in that.
