    Below is the Eligibilty to apply for the Indian Forest Officer exams:

    Bachelors degree Pass.
    You should have studied at least one of the below subjects in the Bachelors Degree Level
    Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics,
    Physics, Statistics, Zoology

    or Bachelor�s degree in Agriculture, Forestry
    Or BE/Btech pass

    So, in the Bachelors Degree , you should choose the subjects keeping in mind the above education eligibity conditions.

    Age- Minimum 21 years
    Maximum 30 years
    Age relaxations of 3 years is given to OBC candidates and 5 years to SC/ST candidates

    Attempts-
    General Category- 4 times
    OBC category-7 times

    Kindly follow the below steps


    After the Successful completion of your 12th you may go for the Any of the following degree

    <> B.E

    <> B.TECH

    <> B.ARCH

    <> B.A

    <> B.COM

    <> B.SC

    <> B.B.A

    <> B.C.A

    <> B.B.M...etc.,








    To be eligible for the INDIAN FOREST SERVICES you may have any of the following degree

    And the minimum age is 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    Dear if you want to become a Indian Forest Service Officer then you may go for following bachelor's degrees

    B.Sc Agriculture Science
    B.Sc Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
    B.Sc Forestry
    B.Sc Botany
    B.Sc Biotechnology
    B.Sc Microbiology
    B.Sc Seed Technology
    B.Sc Mathematics with Physics and Chemistry
    B.Sc Zoology
    B.Sc Geology
    B.Sc Chemistry
    B.Sc Biology
    B.Sc Horticulture
    BE - Any Stream
    B. Tech Agriculture Engineering
    B. Tech any stream

    Dear you may go for any one of the above mentioned subjects and prepare for Indian Forest service examination but dear you can choose any one but the preparation is hard and if you start your preparation from first year of your bachelor's degree then you may prepare well for this exam till the completion of this degree and that is why you need to be sensitive for your study and join any good coaching with your degree and give more time for your preparation

    If you really want to a forest officer.
    Then my friend i suggest you only 5 graduation course.
    That is maybe not easy but useful in this post.

    3. physics
    4. zoology
    5. mathematics

    hi,
    It is nice that you want to become Forest officer after your graduation.

    You have to apply IFS exam after graduation which is conducted by UPSC every year in feb/march month.

    Eligibility;-

    ----you must be passed a bachelor degree from a recognized university in the following;-

    >>>Animal husbandry and veterinary science,botany,zoology,geology,math,stat,chemistry ,physics


    >>>Graduation in forestry or agricultural

    >>.engineering from a recognized or its equivalent

    -----Your age should be between 21-30 years.

    ---You must be Indian as well as medical fit.

    Exam pattern;-

    IFS exam consist preliminary exam,mains exam and Interview.

    Preliminary exam consist two papers of 200 marks each.

    Paper I-General knowledge

    Paper II-General aptitude

    Mains exam consist

    Paper i-general English-300 marks

    Paper II-III,IV,V,VI consist any two optional subject papers which is chosen from list of optional subject.

    After that you will be called for Interview of 300 marks.

    Dear Friend


    As you have mentioned that you want to become forest officer in future ,you will have to clear the Indian forest services examinations .Here I telling you the examination requirements for the IFS which are as below:

    Educational qualifications:

    You must have a bachelor's degree in any stream with at least one of the subjects in the bachelor's degree :

    >>Animal Husbandry,Veterinary science ,Geology,Botany,Mathematics,Physics ,chemistry ,statistics,agriculture and forestry.

    So keep in mind all these subjects ,you should select the bachelor's degree course in which you can read one of the subjects mentioned while pursuing this course .

    Age limitations:

    The age limit is 21 -30 years for the candidates belonging to the general category.

    For OBC candidate : 21-33 years with three years age relaxations.

    For SC/ST candidate :21-35 years with five years age relaxations.

    No of attempts:

    General:4

    OBC:7

    SC/ST: no limit.

    Examination pattern:


    Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen.
