    Hello Friend,
    Civil service is one of the prestigious exam conducted by UPSC. IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS etc. are different type of civil service exams conducted by UPSC every year.

    Eligibility:
    1.Graduation is the minimum qualification required to appear the civil service exam.
    2.The Minimum age is 21 year & maximum age is 30 year required to appear the exams.Upper age limit is relaxed for certain reserved categories.
    3.Nationality - Indian.

    Exam Details:
    The civil service exam conducted by UPSC consist of 3 stages.
    1.Preliminary.
    2.Main Exam.
    3.Interview.
    The preliminary exam is just a qualifying exam conducted in the month of May/june. After qualifying the exam the aspirant can appear the main exam normally in the month of October.Once the aspirants are qualified the main exam the final stage is Interview to test their personality & mental ability.

    In the civil service exam of UPSC there is a limited number of time the aspirant can attempt the exam.
    For General-4 times
    For OBC-7 times
    For Physical Handicapped-7 times
    For SC/ST - No limit on number of attempt

    [FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular] You should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to examination. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of admission certificate to you will not imply that his/ her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. Commission take up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after you qualified for Interview/ Personality Test


    Academic Eligibility for IAS Exams

    • you must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification
    • you have appeared or intend to appear for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the Preliminary Examination. then you will qualify to appear for the Civil Services Main Examination must produce proof of having passed the said examination along with their application for the Main Examination.
    • The UPSC may in exceptional cases treat you without the foregoing requisite qualification as you eligible has passed an examination conducted by other institutions, the standard of which justifies his / her admission in the opinion of the Commission.
    • you with professional and technical qualifications recognised by the Government as equivalent to professional and technical degrees.
    • If you have passed the final year of MBBS or any Medical Examination but are yet to complete the internship can also appear for the Main Examination. However they must submit along with their Main Examination application, a certificate from the concerned authority of the University / Institution that they have passed the final professional medical examination. At the Interview stage they must then produce a certificate from a competent authority that they have completed (including internship) all the requirements for the award of the Medical Degree.

    Restrictions on applying for the examination :

    You should appointed to the Indian examination and continues to be a member of that service will not be eligible to compete at this examination.In case such you appointed to the IAS/IFS after the Preliminary Examination of Civil Services Examination, 2012 is over and he/she continues to be a member of that service, he/she shall not be eligible to appear in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2012 notwithstanding his/her having qualified in the Preliminary Examination, 2012.

    Other Eligibility Conditions for IAS Exams :

    (i) Nationality :

    1. For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, you must be a citizen of India.
    2. For other services, you must be either :�

    1. a citizen of India, or
    2. a subject of Nepal, or
    3. a subject of Bhutan, or
    4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
    (ii) Age Limits :


    1. you must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2012, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1982 and not later than 1st August, 1991.
    2. The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable :

    1. upto a maximum of five years if you are belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
    2. upto a maximum of three years in the case of you are belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
    3. upto a maximum of five years if you had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from the 1st January, 1980 to the 31st day of December, 1989.
    4. upto a maximum of three years in the case of Defence Services personnel disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof.
    5. upto a maximum of five years in the case of ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least five years Military Service as on 1st August, 2012 and have been released .
      • on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from 1st August, 2012) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency, or
      • on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service, or
      • on invalidment.
    6. Upto a maximum of five years in the case of ECOs/SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of five years Military Service as on 1st August, 2012 and whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues a certificate that they can apply for civil employment and that they will be released on three months notice on selection from the date of receipt of offer of appointment.
    7. upto a maximum of 10 years in the case of blind, deaf - muteand orthopaedically handicapped persons.

    Eligibility criteria for IAS exams is:
    1.Graduation or engineering from a college under a recognized university.
    2.Final year appearing students can also apply for the upsc exam.
    3.Age limit is 21 to 30 years.
    4.OBC and SC/ST category gets an age relaxation of 3 and 5 years respectively.

    Selection procedure
    in Civil Service Examination which further consists of two parts.. namely:
    1.Preliminary Examination
    2.Main Examination
    After this the has to go through an interview.

    and for the above these exam the eligiblities are as follows:-

    ELIGIBILITY:-


    For INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY:-


    * Candidates must have completed a degree from a recognized university or equivalent course.
    * Candidate must be a graduate degree holder.
    * Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this exam.
    * Candidates must not born before 2ND January 1989 and not after 1ST January 1994.
    * Candidate must be Indian Citizen.


    FOR NAVAL ACADEMY:-


    * Only Unmarried male candidates can eligible to apply for this exam.
    * Candidates must not born before 2ND January 1989 and not after 1ST January 1994.
    * Candidates must completed B.Sc. degree with Physics & Mathematics as main subjects from a a recognized university.
    * Candidates who have done Engineering course are also eligible to apply.


    For Air Force Academy:-


    * Unmarried male candidates are allowed to apply.
    * Candidates must not born earlier than 2nd January 1990 and not later on 1 January 1994.
    * Candidates must be a degree holder.
    * Candidates should have also passed 10+2 level with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.


    For Officers Training Academy- SSC course (Men/Women):-


    * Candidates must not born earlier than 2nd January 1988 and not later than 1 January 1994.
    * Candidate must be a degree holder.
    * Candidate must be physically fit.
    * Candidate must be Indian citizen.

    candidate should be an indian
    candidate should have completed graduation form a recognized university...
    age of the candidate should lie between 21 to 30 years.
    for generals 21 to 30 years..but for candidates belonging to OBC age relaxation of 3 years is provided and for candidates belonging to the SC/ST age relaxation of 5 years is provided..
    candidates belonging to general can 4 times attempt the exam but OBC candidates can 7 times attempt the exam but there is no limit for SC/ST candidates..
