hi dear,
even if there is no clear cut defination mentioned theritically regarding physical fitness,still practically the following are checked basically
1.eyesight-6/6 or 6/9 for distant vision normally,6/6 to 6/12 in problematic case,no prevalent night blindness,etc.
2.male height must be around 165cm[obc/sc/st-relaxation around 160cm],150 for general category women and for reserved ones it is relaxed till 145cm.
3.chest-men minimum 85cm,expansion of 5cm,and women 79cm with expansion of 5cm.
4.normal ear cavity and no hearing problems.
5.no breathing related serious disorders should be present.
6.physical stamina and mental stability is a must.
7.age must be between 21 to 30 years old on exam date.

Woman-150cm.
6/6 to 6/9 eye sight.
then you can apply for this type of job.

Hi

IFS stands for INDIAN FOREST SERVICES.

IFS exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

There is no need of special physical standard for the IFS exam.

Special Physical requirements are requires in CDS,IPS,NDA exams. In which the candidates want to join the Defence services or police services.

Everyone can give the exam of IFS who has done their graduation in the following streams:-

Animal Husbandry, Veterinary, Agriculture,Agriculture Engineering,Forestry etc.


Your age for the exam should lies in between 21-30 years.

IFS stands for INDIAN FOREST SERVICES

You can give the exam of IFS after graduation from a recognized university and your age for the exam should lies in between 21-30 years.

PHYSICAL STANDARD FOR IFS EXAM

You need not very good physical standard in IFS exam.

Every one is applicable for the exam.

An ordinary person who has a graduation degree can apply for the exam.

You must be physically fit or mentally fit.

Hi,

Eye sight
6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye.
Near vision J1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye.
No inherent night blindness. Vision should stereoscopic.

Ear-
good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment should not be more than 30 decibels.

Height�
Male 165 cm Male (general) & (SC/ ST/ OBC) � 160 cm
Female 150 cm Female (general) & (SC/ ST/ OBC)- 145 cm

Chest �

Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.
Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.

There are not specificity physical standard for IFS exam.

IFS exam stands for Indian forestry service which is conducted by UPSC.

Physical requirement;-

your height must be above 165 cms, 150 cms for female

push ups-20

rope climbing 3 metes minimum
