best thing you can do is join any spoken english class along with reading simple english papers like indian express.
books you can follow include wren & martin english grammar book by schand publication house and word power made easy book by norman lewis.practise writing 10 words minimum every day and also remember their meaning.best of luck.

join a good institute and read english newspaper.

To improve writing skills you need to practice more and more of english worksheets and for improving grammar skills you need to practice the grammar portion and try to get better understanding of tenses etc..

The good books for improving english is "Word Power Made Easy".

Hello,The best and the affordable suggestion which i can give to you is that read newspapers regularly..If you find any difficult word in it then take a dictionary and find out the meaning..And later speak in english with your friends..This is the best way other then reading complicated Grammer books..All the best..

1) Read READER DIGEST
2) LEARN VOCABULARY by dictionary
3) read newspaper
4 ) read magzines article
5) take help of social media
6) finally try to write and speak essays

i respect all above said ideas,

but among all alopathic try my ayurveda- purchase one long note book.

Just take book == international relations / year book / essay book == and copy some portion ,, so that u can write 1 page.s
note down time as = started at , ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, hrs ...... Mnts and finished at .............hrss...............mnts .

Or use stopwatch .

Writing n timing will improve in 10 days. U will gat ur g,k, up. And i am sure ur handwriting will be better n better n better day by day , its ayurvedas promise.

If you want to improve writing skills then first of all go through English grammar rule .Once you start practice on grammar rule ,you will enjoy the English Grammar.After completion of rules you have to start short essay on daily basis based on what you saw during whole daily,what you did from morning to till bed.
Once you gain command on writing then you can start working on earn and learn program where you have to write answers from your own thus your vocabulary will improve.You can start your blog also.Here are some books for reference-

High school English Grammar by Wren and martin

Basic communication by Ashraf Rizvi

Start reading following news papers-

The Hindu

Times of India.

it is not a difficult task but for sure it is a time consuming task
and you need to practice regularly
you may follow the steps
-start reading a English newspaper and search the meanings of new words and note them down
make separate notes and at the end of the week revise it
-use wren and martins book-which is the best book
-read vocabulary books
-you may read 10 words daily from dictionary

if you want to improve your English skills then you should try to learn the English language more than the other language.

Try to speak very clearly the different words again and again.

You can use Dictionary for meaning of the words

You should read newspapers and try to understand the English movie and English news.

You can take grammer notes from the eglish teacher for improving your grammar.

To practice grammar, the book of Wren & Martin is extremely good. If you just want to pass some competitive exam; use R.S Agarwal book.
Apart from these, you can also use the following books:
1. Grammar practice: Elaine Walker
2. The good Grammar Book: Michael Swan

To improve your spellings, you will have to learn and write the spellings everyday(10 atleast).
