Dear as for as my knowledge and details mentioned in official notification - Reservation will be made for candidates belonging to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe in respect of vacancies as may be fixed by the government

There is no news of reservation for ex-servicemen in recruitment process of Central Police Force - Assistant Commandant Examination but Ex-Servicemen are allowed to appear for this examination till 30 years of age after getting five years of upper age relaxation because maximum age limit to appear for this test is 25 years and if you will get 5 years of relaxation in upper age then you can apply till 30 years

Important Dates to Apply for Central Police Force Assistant Commandant Examination

Start Date for Online Application - 06-07-2013

Last Date for Online Application - 05-08-2013

Date for Commencement of Examination - 20-10-2013

You can apply for this examination at www.upsc.gov.in by following this procedure mentioned below

Step I - Visit at above mentioned official website of UPSC board and click at - UPSC Online Applications. You will see a new window with the url - http://www.upsconline.nic.in/

Step II - You have to click at - Online Application for Various Examination of UPSC and your current webpage will be changed and displayed with a new data that is called main menu page

Step III - Click at - Part I Registration - Click Here so there will be a new blank registration/application form on the webpage. You have to fill this application form and provide all factual details and select your category as you are from Ex-Servicemen category so you will not be asked to pay the application/examination fee

Step IV - Finally you have to recheck your all filled details and click at - Continue and a new page will be opened that will contain your detail with a registration number so you have to copy that number and note down then see below of that receipt/page and click at - Part II Registration

Step V - Read all instructions regarding uploading of photo and signature in scanned image because size of the images should be under the required so you have to upload your photo in application form and recheck that your photo and signature are being displayed properly otherwise you can change them again

Step VI - Finally click at Submit and your page will be submitted to the main server with all details and you will be asked to print your application form so do not close and print your application form for future reference
