Yes friend along with civil service exam you can continue your Phd programme. But friend I don't think that you should do this because as you know civil service is the toughest exam of India and you need of very hard work to crack this exam. So friend Phd programme will effect your preparation of civil service exam. You can not make your concentration at your preparation. So friend in my suggestion you should do only Phd or Civil preparation in a time.

what i will suggest you is to concentrate on one thing first

as you may get confused if you try to hook upon two things at the same time

clear your mind as to what is your priority

if you are aiming at phd then go for it

First of all you should clear your mindset in such a manner that what exactly you want to become or want to do in your life. If your aim is to do p.hd in public administration, then just think about it and don�t prepare for anything else. But If your aim is to be into the civil services, then give up everything else and work on this.
Because sailing in two boats at one time is never a good option anywhere.

iam persuing m.a by public administration .and iam preparing for the civil service . now iam choos a other alternative for my career plan this is ph.d .and i want to know that is my decision is right or wrong . what should i do. is only prepare for civils or i can do ph.d also .
