Re: What is the eligibility criteria for UPSC CS Mains exam other than CSAT qualification? Yes this is the exact and correct information which is declared by the upsc. It states that you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for giving the CSAT exam, which is that you should be a graduate from a recognized indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years of age. Now they say for the mains exam also, the eligibility would be the same and only those who have cleared the CSAT exam, are eligible of giving the mains exam

Re: What is the eligibility criteria for UPSC CS Mains exam other than CSAT qualification? while submitting the required documents while applying for prelims even if you have passed the prelims you might be debarred from writing the upsc mains as you suprassed some information about you this is what the clause says
Re: What is the eligibility criteria for UPSC CS Mains exam other than CSAT qualification? As you might have applied for the preliminary examination, you have not submitted any documentary proof of your degree or your date of birth or any other documents related to the basic criterias. So if you clear the preliminary test and is deemed as eligible for appearing in the Mains but at that time it may be found that the candidate has suppressed some information then UPSC can debar him/her from the exam even if he/she has cleared the prelims. This clause states this much only.So that any candidate can not make claims that as nothing was mentioned in the notification so he/she can appear. For example if someone is above the age limit yet if he/she qualifies the prelims test then also he will not be considered for the mains after submission of proof. The basic criterias include Graduation from any stream from a Recognised University and age limit 21-30yearfor general category

Please i would like to know what other eligible criteria are there? Thanks in advance.
