National Defence Academy selection is done through three stage

1)Written Exam-competitive exam
2)Service Selection Board interview.
3)Physical test,medical test.

After applying,first will be written part.If you clear the written part then only will be called for Service Selection Board interview.
After service selection board interview cleared you will get a call letter for medical fitness check.

Then after that if you clear the medical fitness test,a final list of candidates are called.

This entire process is a 1 year process,you keep studying in engineering college and then when you will get a call letter ,then you leave engineering college.
This is the process.

After receiving a final call,you will have a career option to go,you can leave engineering.

Friend, it is advisable to you that you should not waste time by waiting the result of NDA Examination. You should take admission right now in the engineering college. If in the future, you will be able to get selected in the NDA Examination, you may join the National Defence Academy and leaving the engineering college. Before leaving the engineering college, you must take the College Leaving Certification and No Objection Certification, if required.WISH YOUR BRIGHT FUTURE

yes if you got enrolled in any engineering college then you need to take the leaving certificate from your college., after your ssb and medical commision publish its merit list within a month.

Yes that is the procedure.You can not waste time in waiting.You have to take admission.But if you get selected then you have to leave your college and join NDA if you wish to go for NDA as first priority.You will have to take leave certificate and all other documents from your college.You need to inform your college administration and after completing some minor formalities you can join NDA

after 12 we are applying for both nda and engineering colleges.

so,when we will be confirmed about our nda selection,because we cant wait for results,we have to take admissions in eng colleges. if by luck we are selected for nda we should take leaving certificate from eng colleges? please explain........
