Dear Friend,

Yes you are eligible. For become IPS officer you give civil services exam that exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in every year.

Minimum qualification is required for civil services examination is that you must be completed your graduation from any recognized university. For that exam no marks is required, if you have just passing marks in graduation then you can apply for civil services examination.

But it also depends that your age must be under 21-30 years.

• You need to clear the three stages which are preliminary examination, main examination and interview.
• Graduation in any stream is the minimum qualification which you must have from an recognised university.

Basic education qualification required is Graduation in any stream.You are completing MBA course after the completion of Gradiation course only so, you can apply for IPS examination but your degree is valid only if you completed Graduation from recognised university only.

you did not tell which course you have completed at graduation level.

if you completed graduation, that is okay, you are eligible to give civil services exam.

by this exam only, you can join

IAS
IPS
IRS etc.

check your age criteria also for this exam.

21-30 years for General category
21-33 years for OBC category
21-35 years for SC or ST category.

Dear MBA is enough according to required educational qualification because you should have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university to apply for this exam but also should have some other mandatory eligibilities then only you will be eligible to apply for Indian Police Service Examination and all necessary qualifications are mentioned below

* Must have completed 05 years of service as Deputy Superintend of Police in states under state public service commission or

* Should be Assistant Commandants in Central Para Military Forces or

* Should be the officers of the rank of Captain or Major in the Armed Forces of India

* Should have an unblemished service record

Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 35 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines that is 1 year for OBCs and 2 years for SC/STs

Dear during or after completing MBA, you will have to appear for either State PSC to become DSP or CDS or CPF AC examination to get same or equivalent post and complete at least 5 years of service then only you will become eligible to apply for IPS examination because this is limited departmental examination

The Full Form Of IPS is Indian Police Services. If you want to join the Indian Police Services , then you can do this by cracking the Civil Services Exam.

The Civil Services Exam is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission.

every graduate from govt. recognised university is eligible to appear in exam of UPSC. after that its upto you how much score you get in exam and how you perform in interview as well. and you are MBA so, its advantage for you actually. if you are in open category then your age should not be more than 30 years on the day of application. otherwise you are eligible.
