    IPS exam consist Three stages;-

    Civil services preliminary exam

    Civil service Manias exam

    Interview.

    Civil service preliminary exam consist papers of General studies of 400 marks,

    General studies 1-200 marks and 2 hours duration

    General studies 2-200 marks and 2 hours duration

    This paper consist Logical reasoning, Compression, mental ability, economics, politics, Gk as well as General studies.

    Civil services mains exam consist ;-

    Your choosing language papers;-300 marks

    English-300 marks

    ESSAY-300 marks

    Mains exam also consist 2 papers General studies.

    Mains exam consist your choosing optional subject papers.

    After clearing you will be called for personality test/Interview.

    Salary of IPS officer;-

    Junior level;-15600 to 39100 grade pay of 5400
