    It is nice that you want to join UPSC exam of 2014.

    You must be graduate or appearing in final year of your degree. Your age should be between 21-30 years.

    Age relaxation is given to reserved category students.

    You must be Citizen of India.

    You have to start preparation from now. You must be prepare both optional subjects.

    You have to choose those optional subject in which you have full Interest.

    As you know UPSC exam consist Preliminary exam,Mains exam And Interview.

    Preliminary exam consist General studies papers.

    Mains exam consist English, Essay, optional subjects papers, Your choosing Language papers and General studies.

    Interview

    I have Uploaded Syllabus of PCS exam.

    Hi, i intend to appear in upsc 2014 but i am clueless regarding the pattern of paper in that year ... Should i prepare one or two optional subjects.. Which books should i refer to prepare for prelims and mains.... I live in a remote village in punjab so i cant afford to attend regular coaching classes please help me find good books to prepare from home and tell me about the exact syllabus for the exams. I'll be much obliged if you could do me this favour. Thank you
