Sorry friend, there is no quota for the children of army personnel.

UPSC is a central government body which conducts various competitive exam for the recruitment of candidates for the most reputed central government posts

It doesn�t give any relaxation to the children of army personnel.

But you can take the benefit in age relaxation if belongs to reserve category.

5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST

3 years age relaxation for the OBC

Friends, presently there is no any provision of age relaxation for the children of defence personnel or children of ex-servicemen. Central Government have not provide any relaxationmin upper age for this category.In UPSC Examinations, only following categories can availed the facility of age relaxation in upper age are:- # OBC - Other Backward Classes (By 3 years only) # SC - Scheduled Caste (By 5 years) # ST - Scheduled Tribe (By 5 years) # PWD - Person with Disability (By 10 years) # Ex-servicemen (By 10 years only)If you do not belong to any of the above mention category, then you have to appear for UPSC Examination through GENERAL CATEGORY ONLY.

There is no age relaxation for the children of army personal in UPSC exams but there is relaxation in age for the ex serviceman children.

THE AGE RELAXATION FOR THE RESERVED CATEGORIES CANDIDATES ARE




For the UPSC exams you must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or college of Indian.

You must be Indian.

The age for the general category candidates in UPSC exams is 21-30 years.

There is no reservation for Army children in UPSC exam. It is nice that you want to Upsc EXAM.

eligibility;-

---- you must be passed a bachelor degree from a recognized board.Age limits is 21-30 years.

----You must be citizen of India.

----There is no percentage requirement.Appearing in final year candidates are also eligible.

Age relaxation

Genera;-21-30 years(0 years age relaxation)

OBC;-21-33 years(3 years age relaxation)

SC/ST;-21-35 YEARS(5 years age relaxation)

Number of attempt's;-

General;-4 times

OBC;-7 times

There is no limit for sc/st category.

I�m sorry but there is no such quota available for the army kids in the upsc. The reservation is based only on the category of the candidate. A relaxation of 3 years is given to the obc category student whereas a relaxation of 5 years is given to the sc/st category student.

i wd lke 2 ask as my father is an army official, regarding that, could i get any relaxation in age criteria according to the UPSC rules or any reservation criteria for regarding the same..any Defense quota if it is there then plz let me know...
