the time for ias study depends upon the individual, on an average 1 year of rigourous preparation is enough for ias preparation. every year around 800 candiidates are selected for civil services. the training is conducted in nehru ias training academy in mussorie.

Eligibility;-

----You must be passed a bachelor degree from a recognized University.

----Age limit is 21-30 years.

----You must be Indian citizen as well as physically fit.

IAS exam consist;-

Civil services Preliminary exam

Mains exam and Interview

IAS study preparation times is about 6 months.

But more intelligence students, this can be done in 2 moths also.

IAS exam previous Vacancies;-

In 2012, 900 IAS post. for this 10700 will clear the Prelims exam.
