dear ,

the civil services examination 2012 was held on 20-5-2012 .
the notification was released in the month of February.

the result of the prelims exam is expected after two months from the date of examination. we can't say surely about the dates of the result because upsc had not released any guideline for the same .

Dear Applicant,
> The CIVIL SERVICES exams are conducted annually by the UPSC.
The exams are carries out in three phases,namely ::
01. The Preliminary exams.
02. The Mains exams.
03. The Interviews.
You have to qualify the Preliminary exams to move forward to the Mains.
Also,the candidates who qualify the Mains proceed to the interviews.

> Here,I have mentioned below the important dates of the UPSC CIVIL SERVICES EXAMS-2012.

# The notifications of the application forms were released in the FIRST WEEK OF FEBRUARY.

# The last date to apply for the exams was 5th MARCH,2012.

# The Preliminary exams were conducted successfully on the 20th OF MAY,2012 throughout the country.It spans for a period of one day.

# The results of the Preliminary exams will be announced supposedly by the FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST.The results wll be available on the official website of the UPSC.You can check them using your examination roll number and date of birth.

# The candidates who qualify the Prelims will appear the Mains .It will be conducted in OCTOBER & NOVEMBER.

# The results of the MAINS will be announced within 90 working days of the UPSC after which the candidates will be called for the Interviews.
