The educational qualification required is graduation from any stream.No minimum marks is required.
Actually you will have to appear in Civil Service Exams,to apply for custom officer post.

The SSC (Staff Selection Commission) conducts the Combined Graduate Level Examination for Custom Officer posts every year. The essential qualification for it is to pass the Bachelor degree in any discipline at any recognized university. The age limit is within 20 to 27 years. The upper age limit for OBC is 03 years and for SC/ST is 05 years. There is three stages of the examination, i.e., Preliminary, Main and PI. The selection procedure for the Custom Officer examination is mentioned as below:-

* Preliminary examination.

* Mains examination.

* Personnel interview.


The eligibility criteria required for the Custom Officer examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any track from any accredited college or university.

* Final year contenders are also eligible.

* Age limit:- 20-27 yrs.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders.

Its nice to see that you want to become a Custom`s Officer. The Staff Selection Commission [SSC] conducts an examination every year through which custom officers are recruited.

This exam is known as the Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination. This exam is conducted every year.

The Required Qualifications for Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination are :

* The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

* Candidates in final year of graduation are also eligible to appear for the exam.

* You must be an Indian Citizen.

* The Age Limit for the exam are :

a) For General Candidates : 20-27 yrs

b) For OBC Candidates : 20-30 yrs

c) For SC/ST Candidates : 20-32 yrs

The Examination is conducted in three steps namely :

1) Preliminary Examination

2) MAINS Examination

3) Personal Interview
