Dear Friend,
If you want to become a IPS officer, first you have to complete your graduation/Degree from Indian university and you have to fulfil the physical requirements also

You height must be 165 cm[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, Tahoma, sans-serif]
[/FONT]Chest 84 cm Expansion 5 Cm
Eye Sight 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye

There are 3 levels in IPS exam

1) Preliminary level
2) Main exam level
3) final Interview level
In graduation you are taking one specialized field.Based on that field in Main you have one paper

So complete your graduation for applying IPS exam

After 12th ,you can not apply IPS exam. You have to complete graduation degree from a recognized university in any stream to apply IPS exam.

There is no percentage requirement.

General age limits is 21-30 years.

You must be citizen of India.

If you want to become an IPS officer.
Then go for running every day because for preparing this exam your running eligiblty is necessary.
Also you have to complete your graduction with 60% min. marks.
And you have to study hard and regular .
Make your general knowlegde best , read newpaper , cut the best news.
And also try to speak in english and communicat with the people in english.
Make some rule and follow the rules . It will make you a order follow person.
