Prepare the examination according to the syllabus and revise the previous year question papers and try to solve the all the previous year question paper then you can get the logic behind question . While do sums use short methods and important logics . Time management is very important this type of Competitive Examination .

​Eligibility for Indian Forest Service Examination

A bachelor's degree in any one of the following disciplines from a recognized university

Agriculture
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
Botany
Chemistry
Engineering
Forestry
Geology
Mathematics
Physics
Statistics
Zoology

Age should be between 21-30 years and if you belongs to SC or ST or OBC then you may claim for upper age relaxation that will be provided to you according to government norms that is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC

If you are from Mathematics stream and selected Mathematics as one of the subjects for mains examination then you must use some good books to prepare for this subject and practice is everything for mathematics section means if you will practice hard for this section by using different books and previous years question papers with model practice tests then you may easily get good command over this subject
