Re: Am I eligible for IPS having defective eye sight i.e. -3.5 for both the eyes? yes you are eligible because you said that your sight is -3.5 in the physical test for the ips as mentioned is that myopia for both the eyes should be less than -4d and hyper myoipia should be above the +4d.so itself indicates that you are eligible for the testing.

Am I eligible for IPS having defective eye sight i.e. -3.5 for both the eyes? good evening sir I completed my B.Tech and my goal is to join IPS .But i had eye sight -3.50 for both eyes , am i eligible to get selected for ips ? what is the alternative to this ? shall i go for laser treatment or contact lenses ? Is there is possible to reduce eye sight with out surgery ? Kindly give complete information of selection process . Thanking You
