Friend, there is no any comparison between work of CA and IAS Officer. There is lot of difference between CA and IAS Officer. CA is totally a private work which deals with the accountancy of private companies & organisation. While IAS Officer is a government servants who is authorised to conduct the smooth administration of the allotted district. An IAS officer is responsible for conducting, supervising and implementing the developnent program of the concerned district. Now CA are also eligible for applying for Civil Service Examination. It is better for a CA to go for Civil Service Examination in order to get job in IRS - Indian Revenue Service.

IAS post is very respected post of Indian government.

IAS stands for Indian administrative service which is conducted by union public service commission.

IAS is Administrative post. Every one want to become Administrative SERVICES.

you can become IAS officer after graduation degree.

you have to apply IAS exam to become Administrative services.

your age should be between 21-30 years.

You must be citizen of INDIA.

you must be physically as well as mentally fit

Dear Friend,
According to me IAS is better in staus than CA. As an IAS works as Government Official, but CA works in private companies which is not considered better than IAS.

ca is a only chartered accountant who can doing jobs in private sector and govt. sector also . and his power is limited .
but an ias have more power than a ca . because he handle the administrative services like district collector which have a lot lf power to control the district and many more
so ias is more power full than ca .

I want to tell you that CA and IAS are both the different things.

CA is the highest post in accountancy whereas IAS is the highest post in civil services of India.

So both has their different scope and status.

So do not confuse in these things try to understand the meaning of these two posts then you will be able to distinguish both from each other by yourself.

this is not at all correct. CA and IAS are way beyond two different things and status of an IAS officer is far more above than the CA. CA is the charted accountant whose responsibility is to collect the accounts and maintain them. It is a tedious job. But an IAS officer is the person who is responsible for the sole administrative services of the country therefore his dignity is far more above than a CA

No, Its not better at all. CA is all about accountancy only and that is even in private companies. IAS is administrative service for particular district, IAS is a king of a district. he hold more powers than CA person. the difference is here: CA person is a professional while IAS is an officer. but if you go for IRS after CA then its very valuable for you as career point of view. it will keep you in your area of interest also.
