There are no more ways to become IAS officer There is only way is to get success for IAS.So, Better to apply for Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC once in every year.To apply for Civil services You have to complete Graduation in any stream.Age limits are 21 years to 30 years (+3 years for OBC,+5 years for SC/ST).....

    Examination pattern:
    1.Preliminary Examination.
    2.Mains Examination and Inetrview..

There are not various ways to become IAS officer. There is only one exam-Civil services exam conducted by UPSC.If you qualify in all rounds of Civil services then you can get posting as IAS or any other service based upon your rank. You will be eligible if you have passed graduation from any stream and should be within age limit 21-30years.You will be facing 3 phases-Preliminary exam,Mains and then Interview.Prelims is eliminatory round. Those qualifying in Prelims will appear in Mains and then Interview.final result will be prepared on cumulative marks added after mains and Interview. You will get the services based upon your final ranks and preference given while applying for Mains. You can check the website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in to know more about the Civil services exam, dates and question papers of previous years.
