For Defence sector there are two exam which is conducted by UPSC
1. NDA
2. CDS

NDA stands for National Defense Academy . NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
Eligibility Criteria For NDA
Only male and Unmarried Candidate are eligible.
girls are not allowed.
age must be in between 16.5-19 years.
candidate must be passed/appeared in 12th with a govt. recognized university

There are two exams that are conducted by UPSC for defense services.
NDA is a entrance through which students are selected for all the three wings of defense
~NDA-The candidates must have passed the 10+2 with physics and maths for air force and with any discipline for army.
Age lmit-16.5 to 19 years.
Only unmarried male candidates are applicable.

~CDSE-is again a entrance through which candidates are selected in

yes you can apply for defense services through upsc .there are two exam under upsc to join defense services namely NDA and CDS .the eligibility for these exams fully depends on your age and your educational qualifications .
as if your qualification is 12th and your age is between 16.5 to 19 years then you become eligible for for NDA whereas if your are a graduate from recognized university under UGC and your age is between 19 to 25 years then you are eligible for CDS .
in CDS
#for IMA age should be between 19-24 years
#for OTA age should be between 19-25 years
#for IAF age should be between 19-22 years .

also please note that

for IMA(Indian Military Academy) And OTA(Officer's Training Academy) through CDS student should have passed Graduation from a recognized university .
for the Indian Air Force Exam through CDS the candidate should be pass in Graduation With Physics or Maths.

if you have age below 19 years then

apply for NDA exam

if you have above 21 years and having a degree with you

then apply for CDS exam

qualifying with this you are eligible to enter navy,air force and Indian army

so plenty of opportunities are awaiting for you

the exam for this a little bit tough but if you are doing some more

hard work then you can achieve easily

Combined Defence Service Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year for admission to Military Academy , Naval Academy , Air force Academy , Officer Training Academy Examination . This examination will be held Feb and August .

## You must be Citizen of India .
## Military Academy / Officer Training Academy :: Graduate degree with any discipline .
## And also having Physics and Mathematics as subjects required to apply for Air force / Naval Academy .
## Final year candidates are eligible .
