    Yes There should be no doubt on this regarding that you can give exam or not as you can for sure apply for the exam.

    You just need a Graduation degree to become eligible for the exam.

    Stream doesnot hold any criteria for acception or rejection of people applying for the exam.

    SC/ST-- unlimited no. of attempts

    Mostly UPSC exam which you appear after graduation takes place once in a year

    1. candidate should be a citizen of INDIA.
    2. must have any graduate degree with well known university.

    yes a b.sc computer science graduate can definitely apply for the upsc civil services and other exams such as cds,ifs,etc.the eligibility criteria for the candidate is a graduation degree from an ugc recognised university in any stream. prepare hard for the exams.all the besthappy learning!!!!

    UPSC Civil service exam can be given by any graduate from any streams of graduation.You go through UPSC websites.Develop habit of reading newspapers and many more things are there but first you generate your interest by knowing about Civil Service exam pattren.It is continuous effort and require proper planning and as you are eligible so first generate your interest by knowing about it .

    Candidate must have pass Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized
    University.
    Final year appearing students can also apply UPSC exam.
    Candidate should be an Indian Citizen.

    Yes. The candidate from background of B.Sc Computer Science is eligible to give UPSC Exam.

    But, you did not tell which UPSC Exam you want to write.

    for example if you want to write, IES Exam, then you are not eligible because you have not done engineering.

    but you can write civil services exam to join civil services like

    IAS
    IPS

    you can write CDS Exam to join defence services like

    Airforce

    The essential qualification for the UPSC CSAT examination is to pass the Bachelor degree in any discipline at any recognized university. So, you as the student of Bachelor in Computer science from a recognized university, you can appear for the examination. The age limit for the examination is within 21-30 years. The upper age limit for OBC is 03 years for SC/ST is 05 years. There is also restriction in number of attempts to appear the examination. There is only 04 attempts for General candidates, for OBC, it is 07 and up to 35 years of age for SC/ST. you can also see www.upsc.gov.in Thanks.....

    if the candidate fulfill the given below eligibility conditions then yes you can appear for upsc exam

    -age limit=minimum age is 21 years and
    maximum for general is 30 years
    maximum age for sc/st is 35 years
    maximum age for ex-service men is 35 years
    maximum age for obc is 33 years
    maximum age for physically handicapped is 40 years

    -educational qualification=any bachelor degree from a recognized university.

    -must have cleared all the subjects

    -final year candidate may also apply

    -must be indian

    -men and women both are eligible

    -medically fit and fine

    you have apply for upsc civil service exam held once in ayear in 2 parts i.e

    1)preliminary test

    2)civil service exam

    -finally called for interview

    Just choose a subject for the subjective exam in UPSC .
    Then you can .
    It is so easily .
    But if you don't have 60% min . marks in graduation year .
    Then you cann't .

    yes friend , B. SC. computer science graduation can apply for the civil service exam.

    To apply for the civil service exam you should have graduation degree in any stream from discipline university of India.

    your age should be 21 t 30 years.

    if you belongs to OBC community then you can apply till the age of 33 years and if you belongs to SC/ST category you can apply till the age of 35 years.

    Yes absolutely means you are 100% eligible to appear for UPSC exams and you can apply for both defense and civil services exams under UPSC because UPSC required only graduation in any discipline/stream from a recognized university and the age of the candidate should not be lesser than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation would be provided in upper age only to reserved categories which is 5 years for SC/STs and 3 years for OBC category candidates and if you wish to apply for CDS Exam then your age should not be more than 25 years.

    You can apply for UPSC exams at - www.upsc.gov.in and you will get all other informations about the UPSC exams and presently you can apply for CDS - Combined Defense Service Exams till 10th December 2012 so that you should visit at this website and get the details.

    Dear Candidate!!
    Forbeing eligible in UPSC exam,you need to be a graduate in any subject and your age should not be more than 33 and less than 21.(without relaxation)
    There is no bar of subjects in this exam but a few jobs require some specific diplomas and degrees..
    you have to check eligibility criteria for all jobs before applying.

    Being an B.sc Candidate you may apply for Civil Service Examination / CDS Examination .

    Civil services Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in one year .

    Yes you are eligible for the exam as per your educational qualifications.

    But currently i am saying this because you fulfill the educational qualification required for the same.

    Yes of course B.Sc(computer science) graduate can give UPSC Civil Services Exams.

    Civil Services Exams(CSE) is conducted by UPSC every year to make recruitments to 24 services/posts.
    -It consists of the Prelims/CSAT exam,Mains exam and Interview.
    -One has to clear the CSAT to become eligible to appear in the Mains exam.
    -In the Mains exams choice of two optionals subjects has to be made.
    -Must clear the Mains to get an interview call.
    -On clearing the interview which is the test of personality one is selected to the
    FINAL MERIT LIST.

    Eligibility For CSE :

    Age Limit :

    General category-21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam
    OBC-21-33yrs

    UPSC conduct various exams for various fields like Civil Services Exam.

    as you said you have completed B.SC computer Science you can definitely apply for UPSC Civil Services Exam. because for Civil Services you need graduation in any stream.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    1. Graduation in any discipline

    2. Age Limit: your age must be within 21 years to 30 years and there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC candidates.

    hi,It is nice that you are graduate in b.sc with computer science.You can apply upsc exam.Age limit is 21 to 30 years.You must be indian citizen.For more:-www.upsc.gov.in
