The relaxation is provided only to the candidates belonging from the obc and the sc/st category. The age relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and the sc/st candidates respectively

Re: Any special age relaxation for railway employees in UPSC exams? hi, For Railway department, you have to apply SCRA exam which is conducted by UPSC. To apply SCRA exam.you must be 12th standard from a recognized university. you must be consist pcm subject in 12th class. The candidates should have completed 21 years of age by 1st August and the minimum age for aspiring it is 17 years. The relaxation limits for SC/ST candidates is 5 years. For backward classes it is 3 years. For Ex-service men the limit is 5 years.
