I am sorry to say but there is no relaxation provided to the railway employees in the upsc exams. The relaxation is provided only to the candidates belonging from the obc and the sc/st category.
The age relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and the sc/st candidates respectively

There is no such relaxation for the UPSC examination as a employee of Railway. You can only appear for the departmental examination for your department. Thanks...

no dear there is no age relaxation for railway employees in upsc exams only an age relaxation of 5 years is given to ex-defence personnel.

hi,

For Railway department, you have to apply SCRA exam which is conducted by UPSC.

To apply SCRA exam.you must be 12th standard from a recognized university. you must be consist pcm subject in 12th class.

The candidates should have completed 21 years of age by 1st August and the minimum age for aspiring it is 17 years.

The relaxation limits for SC/ST candidates is 5 years.

For backward classes it is 3 years.

For Ex-service men the limit is 5 years.


Examination Pattern: -

-General Ability Consist of English, General Knowledge, Psychology

-Physical Science Consist of Physics and Chemistry
