Hello

There are various entries in Indian Army through IMA.

But on the basis of class 10+2 qualification,there is only one entry in IMA.

National Defence Academy.
The criteria is 10+2 passed with any stream.
Age limit-16.5 to 19 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying).

NDA is conducted twice in a year.
The notifications are released in the month of May and December.

Upsc Means Union public service commission

And upsc is conducting the exam for the IMA

IMA Stands foe the Indian Military Academy

And conducting the common defence exam(cds)

For the exam the following qualification required:

Education: The candidate should be pass in the degree

From a recognized indian university also the

Final year student can also apply for the exam

Age : The age should be between 19-24

And you can fill the exam easily

Just follow the steps;

Go to the official website of the upsc

And click on the form you want to fill

And then fill your details and upload your

Scanned photo and signature and pay fee and submit the form

You can apply for IMA through CDS & NDA

Eligibility required for CDS:

1. For IMA : 19 to 24 Years
   For OTA : 19 to 25 years
   For Naval : 19 to 22 years
   For Air Force : 19 to 23 years.
2. The selection process consists of a written exam and personality test by the Service Selection Board. After the final selection, you are sent to one of the following institutes for orientation training as per your Preference at the time of filling the application form.
3. unmarried male candidates can apply only.

Basic eligibility required for NDA are:
- You are eligible for NDA after 10+2 exam.
-only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
-candidates appearing in 12th class can also apply.
- Age : From 19 Years to 24 years. Engineer graduates 20 to 27 years
- Degree. BA, B.Sc or B.Tech/BE

C.D.S. EXAM IS CONDUCTED BY U.P.S.C. TWICE IN A YEAR.

The notification of CDS has been published recently for this year. But the last date has been expired. You can go to the IMA by qualifying CDS & NDA. For the details of the advertisement, You have to visit the website www.upsc.gov.in You can apply online for this examination by loging in this website www.upsc.gov.in

Respected sir,
I have just completed my 12th examination.I want to join IMA.It will be kind enough if you please let me know when there will be commencement of examination for IMA and also when I will get the forms for IMA.
