DEAR friend,

as you are IT graduate then you can apply for the following exams.

1. INDIAN FOREST SERVICES (IFS)

2. CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION (CSE)

3. COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES EXAMINATION.

4. CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE.



but as you know that the civil services are known as the highest paid job in govt sector in India ,,and also considered as the most prestigious job in India

so let us discuss about civil services examination .


civil services examination is a combined examination of almost all type of central govt jobs.like IAS,IPS,IES,IFS...............and so many

others . in this job you get money with the power ,that's why every graduate have keen desire to hold a position in one of the option

described above.

every year upsc releases its notification for the civil services examination .

to be eligible for the examination you must have the certain qualification described below.



eligibility criteria:-



* the candidate must be a graduate and the university must be approved by the govt.

* the candidate must be a citizen of India ie. holds the citizenship of India.

age criteria:-



* for general category :- 21-30 years.

* for obc category:- 21-33 years.( 3 yrs. relaxation)

* for sc/st category:-21-35 years.( 5 yrs relaxation)

if you have the qualification and can fit under the criteria(s) given above, than nobody can stop you to be eligible for the same.

but there is a limit of no. of attempts, that means you are allowed to sit in the examination only for a limited time.



Number of attempts :-




* for general category:- only 4 attempts.

* for obc category: 7 attempts.

* for sc/st category:- no limit .(as many time as they want till 35)

2. IPS
3. IFS
4. CDS

If you have done graduation in IT from a recognized university and your age lies in between 21-30 years then you are eligible for the UPSC exams.
You can apply for any of the UPSC exams given below:-


Except NDA,CMS,SCRA,IES & IFS you can apply for any of the exams.
Because for theses exams your discipline is not applicable.

Dear friend,

After graduation in engineering you have many exams which are conducts by Union Public Service Commission.

Exams such as :

Civil Services Exam.
Combined Defense Exam.
Indian Engineering Services Exam.

Every Exam has different - different criteria .

For Civil Services Exam :

>> Candidate must be passed his/her graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation.

>> Candidate must be under 21-30 years.

>> Candidate must be citizen of India.

For Indian Engineering Services :

>> Candidate must be passed his/her graduation in engineering and also can apply in last year of graduation.

>> Candidate must be under 21-30 years.

>> Candidate must be citizen of India.


For Combined Defense Services :

>> Candidate must be passed his/her graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation.

>> Age Limit :

For Indian Military Academy : 19-25 years.

For Indian Air force Academy : 19-23 years.

For Indian Army : 19-24 years.

For Indian Navy : 19-22 years.

combined defence service exam which is conducted twice a year.
civil service exam which is conducted once a year.
cpf ac exam which is conducted once in a year.
indian forest service exam which is conducted once in a year.
indian engineering service exam which is conducted once in a year.

You can appear in the below exams conducted by UPSC

>> UPSC CDS exams
>> UPSC Civil Services Exams
>> UPSC Indian forest service Exams
>> UPSC Indian Engineering services Exams


Currently forms are being filled for UPSC CDS exams
So if you are is below 23 years than you can apply for the Airforce wing
Age to apply for the Army wing is between 19 to 24 years
Age to apply for Navy Wing is between 19 to 22 years

Since you have completed your BTECH, so you are meeting the educational qualifications criteria for all the 4 wings of CDS
