you are definitely eligible on UPSC Exam.
Maximum age limits for UPSC Exam:
21-----30 years on OCs.
21-----33 years on BC/MBCs.
21-----35 years on SC/STs.
21-----40 years on physical ability candidates.

CDSE(OTA)-Short Service Commission-Army
Age Limit-19 to 25 years.

CDSE(IMA)-Permanent Commission-Army.
Age limit-19 to 24 years.

CDSE(AFA)-Permanent Commission-Air Force
Age limit-19 to 23 years.

CDSE(NA)-Permanent Commission-Navy
Age limit-19 to 22 years.

Permanent Commission-A service of maximum 30 years.
Short Service Commission-A service of maximum of 14 years.

All ages are at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying.

CDSE selection process is of three stage,written exam,ssb interview,physical test.

It takes nearly 1 year time to complete all process of selection.

Next CDS exams would be held on 8th September 2013

For this exam for the IMA wing candidates who were born between 2nd July 1990 to 1st July 1995.
For the OTA exams candidates who were born between 2nd July 1989 to 1st July 1995

So yes definitely you would be able to apply for the CDS exams in the year 2014
CDS exams would be held two times in the year 2014.

So you should prepare for the exams and when notifications comes out next year you can apply

Friend, please note that# Presently your age is within the required age limit for IMA (Indian Military Academy).# The age limit fixed for the IMA is 19 years to 24 years.# If you will be able to complete the graduation degree in the year 2014, then you will be remain eligible for the IMA. # Next year (in the year 2014), your age would be around 22 years which is two years shorter than the maximum age of 24 required for joining IMA.# For joining the IMA, you have to apply for CDS Examination. And CDS Examinations are held twice in a year by UPSC.# For information regarding CDS Examination can be obtained from the official website of UPSC i.e. http://upsc.gov.in

hi
the minimum age for giving the NDA exam is 16.5 and the maximum age is 19 years.
The minimum and maximum age for giving the CDS exam is 19 and 23 respectively.
And for the upsc civil services exam, the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 30 years.
However in the upsc civil services examination, a relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and the sc/st candidates respectively.
But there is no age relaxation for any caste

CDS Exam is conducted byUPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian MilitaryAcademy (IMA), Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers TrainingAcademy (OTA).
The age limit criteria says that a candidate should be in between 19-24 years for IMA.

The Age Limit Criteria For CDS Exam is as follows:
--> For IMA: 19-24years.
--> For Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years.
--> For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
--> For OTA: Male candidates (married or unmarried) of age between 19-25years.
--> For OTA: Unmarried Women of age between 19-24 years.

And Yes you are eligible to appear for CDS Exam since you satisfy the eligibility criteria. You can apply for CDS EXAM (II) 2013
Notification Date : 25-5-13
Last Date of Form Filling: 24-6-13
Exam Date: 8-9-13

I am currently pursuing 3rd year B.Com ...I will complete my graduation in 2014 respectively...It is my dream to join IMA...I would like to know whether I am eligible for CDS Examination (IMA) in the year 2014 or will I get Age Over by that time...!?
