Friend, RAW stands for Research and Analysis Wing. It is an Intelligence Agency which primarily meant for keeping strict vigil on internal and external threat to the integrity and unity of India. Generally, there is no any recruitment process in RAW. And all the recruitment are done from the existing military and para-military personnels those have excellent service records.

No need to join IAS exam to join RAW field. The RAW department is mainly selecting the candidates from the who have experience in the fields of Civil Services, Polices departments, Defence fields. how to join RAW

Candidates are not selected directly . some time candidates are selected on the basis of the UPSC exam. more RAW department candidates dates select from the field from the

>> Armed Forces
>> Intelligence Agencies
>> Police Services
>> Administrative Services
>> Most of candidates from IB - Intelligence Bureau

Desk Officer
Accountants

Dear Friend,

RAW stands for Research and Analysis Wing. It is an external intelligence agency of the Government of India.

Generally RAW does not recruit candidates directly. They recruit candidates from other government departments in India such as Armed forces, Intelligence Agencies, Police Services, Administrative Services etc. Officers are secretly offered the job. In some cases even students are offered the job.

So, intentionally you cannot join RAW that is there is no entrance examination to recruit RAW agents.

At best, you can get into some good position in Armed Forces or in Civil Servants, do some really great job and then if you are lucky you may be offered the RAW agent job.
