Hello Friend,
IPS stands for Indian Police service . The IPS exam conducted by UPSC every year.

Eligibility:
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any stream
Age limit: Between 21 years to 30 year
(upper age limit is relaxed for certain reserved categories)
For IPS exam the candidate must be a citizen of India.

The exam consist of 3 stages:
1.preliminary exam
2.Main exam
3.Interview

In month of May/June the aspirant have to take the preliminary exam consist of 2 papers.This exam is just a qualifying exam for the final exam & score obtained in this exam are not added to the final result.

The candidate who have qualified in the preliminary exam are to take the final exam normally in the month of October.

Once you are qualified the test the final stage is interview to test their personality & mental ability.
Then the candidates who are secured good rank go for training.After completion of training they are posted as per recruitment of the central/state Govt. police & investigation organization.

If you want to become the IPS officer then you must have following eligibility:-

--You must have bachelor degree

--Degree mustbe from recognized university

--Your age must lies in between 21-30 years

--You must be Indian

--YOu must be physically or mentally fit.

PROCEDURE OF IPS EXAM

1.Preliminary exam

2.Mains

3.Interview

>> if you got passed in interview then they send you for training and for that thet pay salary also and you become IAS .

first you have to full fill the eligiblty .

and that eligiblty in UPSC exam.

This requirmet for UPSC exam.
AGE
general 21 to 30
OBC 21 to 33.
SC/ST 21 to 35.

Attempt
general 4times
OBC 7times.
SC/ST No limit.

STUDy
graduated with 60%marks.

CITIZEN
INDIAN

PHYSICAL
fit

These are some procedure to become IPS officer------------

1.You should have at least graduation degree in any stream from a recognised college
2.Final year candidates are also apply
3.Your age should between 21 to 30 years
4.There is no Minimum percentage is required to apply for Civil Services examination
5.The candidates should be a citizen of India.

First of all, you have to complete eligibility (like age, minimum qualification, etc. ) for IPS exam conducted by UPSC.
Actually a common exam for IAS/IPS/IFS is conducted by UPSC, then rank wise officers are selected. The highest rank is for IAS, the IPS and IFS.
For such exams, you have to complete your bachelor (Graduation) degree in any stream. the minimum age is 21 and maximum is 30 years.Age relaxation can be made for OBS/SC/ ST candidates.
You will have to clear pre, main and then Interviiew exams.

And this IPS exam is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

And for that you must definitely fulfill the below eligibility criteria


You must have a minimum of 21 years

GRADUATION qualification is Compulsory

And the maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates

You must be an INDIAN CITIZEN

the first and the foremost step is to fit into the eligibility criteria

the same is graduation from recognised univeristy and age should be between 21-30 years

sir..
i have dreamt off being an IPS officer since my childhood,but i couldnt cos my father is a business man he need my help to develop.so now asked him weather i could go or not he replied to go,now willing to join the camp to become an IPS officer.
what do i do for the future..?
wat are the needs of bcoming an officer...?
wat stage should i reach to get that high spot of my target...?
