If you have the acknowledgement number then you can send it to the upsc and request for the roll number. you should immediately call the upsc facilitation counters or fax them about your problem.

if you are staying in delhi it would be better to reach the upsc office in person and ask for help.if you have the acknowledgement number then definitely you can retrieve your roll number otherwise also approach the commission as they mey help you to find out your roll number based upon the information you feeded during filling the form or the centre you wrote your exam.

but take action immediately and contact upsc

incase you still have your question papers, you can check those. the roll number must be written on that as well as you are required to do so before the exam.

Dear Candidate,
- Its very misfortunate from your side,to have misplaced your admit card and having lost possession of your examination roll number.
- It is not possible to know your Civil Services Preliminary exams results without your roll number.
- Hence,you will have to manage your roll number before the results are declared in the first week of August.
There are presently two ways of how you can get them.
- Firstly,keep visiting the official website of the UPSC regularly.You can download the provisional admit card for the preliminary exams,which are made available after the exams are conducted.You will need your examination roll number and date of birth to download one.
- The other option available is to ask the UPSC officials for your examination roll number in written.Mention them the state you are in,and they will surely help you out.
Use this method only if you miss the dates to download the provisional admit card.
- The official website of the UPSC is :: www.upsc.gov.in !!
- Make sure you manage to secure the admit card before the results are declared or else you will not be able to see the results.

dear if you don't have roll no. then you can not see your result but there is only one way that is you can send e-mail to the upsc officials requesting them to help you by telling your situation ,
they will help you as much as they can...
you can also call them between 9am to 5pm on working days.

Dear ,

you can reprint your admit card from the upsc website and in which you get your roll.no.

And with the help of roll no. You can find the result from the same website.
