IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services .

If you have graduation degree from recognized university then you can apply for IAS Exam.IAS exam conducted for UPSC through civil service exams .

Final year of degree courses candidate can apply here .

The age eligibility criteria is -

Minimum age - 21 years old.
Maximum age - 30 years old.

Your age now 19 years old so you are not applicable for IAS exam .After 21 years old of your age you can apply here .

So you have enough time for prepation for IAS exam .I think you are not a graduate candidate , so first complete your garduation degree very well .

Educational Requirements :

Candidate should be passed his/her graduation from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.

For that examination percentage does not matter , if candidate just have passing marks in graduation are also eligible.

Sorry to say that at the age of 19 years you can't able to apply for the post of IAS. because for IAS your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. There is also relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

you can get IAS post through UPSC Civil Services exam. Civil Services exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

Civil Services exam is conducted in three sections:
CSAT(Prelims)
Mains
Interview

for Civil Services you need graduation degree in any discipline from recognized college or university. final year students can also apply for Civil Services exam.

for Civil Services exam there is also limit of number of attempts of 4 for General category, 7 for OBC category. There is no limit in number of attempts for SC/ST aspirants.

as you have minimum 2 years of spare time i will suggest you to prepare hard for Civil Services exam. Because Civil Services exam is not an easy exam. for cracking the exam you need lots of hard work and dedication.

Sorry you cannot do that because the age for the Civil services examination is is 21 to 30 years of age , but you are only 19 years of age at the moment.so you have 2 years right now to apply for the same.In between either you prepare for the civil services exam or you can apply for the CDS examination because CDS is also based on the graduation.If you have completed the graduation right now then it will be good for you to apply for the same, as after 19 years of age you will be eligible to apply that.You can apply for any of the wings if you have the graduation in physics and maths.But id you have graduation in any other discipline then you can only apply for the indian millitary academy and officers training academy.19 to 24 years for IMA.19 to 25 for OTA.19 to 22 years for Navy.19 to 23 years for the air force.selection procedure written test ssb interview.medical examination.If you qualify the exam then you need to qualify the CDS exam and after that medical.If you got selected then good otherwise you have option of IAS after that.So you can use these 2 years for competetion in other field also.Todays world is full of competetion so you need to put your legs every where, because there is very little chance for selection in civil services if you try other things then it will be better for you.

Minimum age requirement to appear for the civil services exams conducted by UPSC is "21yrs to 30yrs"
So you must be beyond 21 to appear for IAS n all exams

No You can not go for UPSC IAS exam as you are under age than the required age.

UPSC has some criteria according to which only you are eligible for the exam.

1. candidate should be citizen of INDIA.

2. candidate should have graduate degree from any recognized university.

Preliminary Stage

Mains Stage

Interview

First you have to appear for the Preliminary exam .If you clear it then next step is the main exam. The main exam includes the written exam. In the written exam you will face the two papers General Aptitude and also General Studies. If you clear this exam then you will be called for the Interview

Interview will be conducted by the SSB officers from the UPSC the total duration of the Interview is the Five to six days

# You have to complete the graduation from the recognized college
# You should be Indian citizen

I am sorry to say that you cannot sit in IAS exam at this age.

According to the eligibility criteria,one must be atleast 21 years old to sit for the exam.
However,there is relaxation in the Upper Age limit for SC/ST and OBC catagory.

So wait for another 2 years and then go for it!

The required age of upsc ias is 21 years.....so you cant apply for the ias exam,because your age is 19 right now,you have to wait 3 years,

To become an IAS Officer you have to appear and clear the UPSC Civil Services Exam(CSE).

UPSC CSE is conducted every year to make recruitments to 24 services/posts.

Since you are 19yrs of age you are underage and donot meet the minimum
eligiblity critera of age limit i.e.21yrs on 1st August of the year of exam.
