Detailed procedures for IRS(Indian Revenue Services):- **Education: Graduate or a final year candidate from the recognized University can apply for IRS(Indian Revenue Services). **Age: General: 21-30 years, OBC: 21-33 years, S/C S/T: 21-35 years.PWD: 21-40 years. **Nationality: Indian. **Attempts: General: 4 attempts, OBC : 7 attempts. S/C S/T: No limit. Through this eligibility a candidate can appear IRS entrance examination to get employment in customs/excise/Revenue department. Acronym IRS stands for Indian Revenue Services. after clearing IRS you will get the posts in Customs and Central excise department. Which is considered one of the best post.for IRS you have to write Civil Services exam which is conducted by UPSC every year. For Civil Service you need graduation degree from recognized college or university or you can also apply for exam while appearing in final year of graduation. Civil Services exam is conducted in three phases and you have to clear all the phases to become an IRS officer.
