For Customs officer you need graduation degree from recognized college or university with any percentage. for Customs Officer you have to write Civil Services Exam for IRS. Acronym IRS stands for Indian Revenue Services. after clearing IRS you will get the posts in Customs and Central excise department. for IRS you have to write Civil Services exam which is conducted by UPSC every year.

Civil Services exam is conducted in three phases and you have to clear all the phases to become an IRS officer. The three phases are CSAT(Prelims), Mains and Interview

to apply for the Civil Services exam your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. There is also available relaxation in upper age limit according to government norms.

there are also limit of number of attempts like 4 attempts for general category and 7 attempts for OBC category. SC/ST candidates can apply for any number of time.

I m in fyjc i wanted to know about custom officer in great detail after syjc what step should i take for being a custom officer
