Definitely you are eligible for the civil services examination after completing the graduation with arts stream.
So if you like to apply for the same then you can go ahead to apply for the same there will be problem into the same.
If you like to see the eligiblity criteria for the civil services examination then it is as follows.
Civil services exam-
It is athe examination which is conducted for the selection in the higher level post and it is also the toughest examination of all the time.
If you like to clear the examinatioon then you need to be good enough in the studies, well there will be no problem for you because you are a student of arts so if you apply for the same then you can easily qualify the CSAT.
CSAT stands for the civil services aptitude test which requires 2 papers to be cleared each consist of the 200 marks and both will be 400 marks.
After qualifying the CSAT examination there will be the Mains examination in front of you.
Here you need to choose the subjects as optional.
Your age needs to be 21 to 30 years and there will be the age relaxation for you if you belongs to the folowing categories-
5 years for the sc/st.
3 years for the OBC.
5 years for the ESM.
3 years for the disabled candidate of defence.
So these are consist of 2000 marks and 300 marks for the interview if qualify the exam.

Dear Friend,

Yes , you are eligible for IAS exam.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services . It is an officer level post comes into civil services. For that you give civil services examination.

For civil services exam candidate must be graduate and also can apply in last year of graduation.
It does not matter that in which fields you are doing your graduation. Only it is required that you should be graduate from any recognized university.

No percentage barrier for civil services exam , If candidate just have passing marks in graduation are also eligible.

candidate must be under 21-30 years.

Being an graduate from any stream is the minimum educational criteria fixed by UPSC in order to apply for the civil service examination.Since you have completed your graduation so you are eligible for applying the civil service examination.Since civil service tests more general studies being an graduation from arts will offer you some of the advantages than science graduate

Before you apply you should know that you have completed your 21 years of age.However maximum age limit has been fixed to 30 years by the comission for appearing in the examination.This upper age limits has been relaxed by 3 years for OBCs and 5 years for SC/ST.Also the number of attempts has been fixed by the commission.For general category it is 4 ,OBC-7 and SC/ST no retriction.

The examination pattern consists of two stages Preliminary exam and Main examination.Main examination is further divided in two parts Written examination and Interview Test of 275 marks. Beside this regarding the examination syllabus,dates of examination and any examination updates you may visit UPSC official website(www.upsc.gov.in).

only IAs requires as listed

1. any graduate degree from an recognized university

2. candidate should be citizen of INDIA.

3. age limit : 21 - 30 years(general candidates.

4. relaxation for 3 years to OBC candidates and 7 years to SC/ST candidates.

There is no question of doubt that why can't you apply for IAS graduate.

You have completed your Graduation and so you have become eligible for this exam.

See it doenot at all matter whether you have completed your degree from arts, commerce or science. Its just a matter of thing that you have completed your graduation or not.

IAS exam is not an exam related to a particular subject, so all stream candidates and all type of graduates are eligible for the exam.

For going into IAS you will have to give civil services exam.
