    you get succeed in IAS by prepare hard for it:

    may join IAS coaching that help you alot.

    prefer various books, solved papers etc.

    read newspaper and improve G.K

    eligibility for IAS exam :

    1. candidate must be citizen of INDIA.
    2. candidate must have graduate degree from recognized university.
    3. age limit : 21 - 30 years
    4. relaxation to OBC - 3 years and SC/ST - 5 years.
    5. there is no percentage requirement.
    6. there is no physical requirement.

    IAS - INDIAN ADMINISTRATION SERVICE

    you must have bachelor degree from a recognized university and your age must be in between 21-30 years for the IAS exam.
    There is no physical requirement required in the IAS exam even Physically handicapped candidates can apply for the IAS exam.
    If you want to succeed in the IAS exam then you must have to read about 4-7 hours i a day.
    You can take coaching for the IAS preparation. this will help you more.
    You must read the previous year papers of the IAS exam which gives you knowledge about the questions asked in the IAS exam.

    Dear Friend , as you know it is considered as the most respectful job in govt. sectors , and also one of the toughest exams in INDIA.so to become an IAS officer is not as easy as eating food . but tough word is only for failures , winners always think about to achieve their goal only and not , so if you are a hard working person and determined towards your goal than you are the right person for the examination.always remember if anything you feel that it is impossible that means you have not much desire to achieve it and if you have desire to achieve it than it will always possible for you. so start your preparation with this attitude and you will succeed definitely.now let us discuss about the needs of examination to be eligible for the same.Qualification requirements:- 1. the candidate must be permanent citizen of India and having the citizenship of INDIA. 2. he/she must be graduate with a govt. recognized university.age requirements:- 1. for general category:- 21-30 yrs. 2. for obc category:- 21-33 yrs. 3. for sc/st category:- 21-35 yrs.if you think that you have all the required qualification than you can apply for the same ,,,,but always remember that you have only a few chances to give the examination ,because there is an restriction of no of attempts so first be prepare and than apply for the examination because it will affect your future.No. of attempts allowed:- * for general category aspirants:- 21-30 yrs. * for obc category aspirants:- 21-33 yrs. * for sc/st category aspirants:- 21-35 yrs.for other details in brief go to the website:- www.upsc.gov.ingood luck...

    for appearing in the IAS exan, you need to fulfill the following eligiblity criteria, which states that you need to be a graduate from a recognized indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years. a relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and the sc/st category students respectively.
    there are no general physical qualifications that are needed for the appearance in the IAS exam.

    Sir I want to know about IAS preparation. How we can succeed in this exam? what is minimum qualification and physical standards.
    Now I am in B Tech 1st year.
