Indian Army as a engineer.

Combined Defense Service Examination
No percentage.
Entry-IMA and OTA

NCC(SPL) entry
50% in degree
Entry in OTA.

TGC-Technical Graduate Course
No percentage required
Entry in IMA

SSC(Tech)
No percentage required
Entry in OTA

UES-University Entry Scheme
No percentage required
Entry in IMA

All above mentioned are engineering entries.
IMA-Indian Military Academy
Permanent commission
Job of 30 years

OTA-Officers Training Academy
Short Service Commission
Job of maximum 14 years

but actualy m female candidate...i want to join army..i heard that it has percentage criteria of 60%.......is there any exam to join arm forces,which is having this type of criteria?

hey

If you want to join the Indian Army then you must have only graduate degree from a recognized university with passing marks only.
You can join Indian Army through CDS exam.
For CDS exam you must have graduation and your age must be in between 19-24 years.
You must be Indian and physically fit.
So do not worry about the percentage you can apply after graduation with passing marks only.

There is no limit of the percentage in graduation required for the Officer in Indian Army.
You can join Indian army after graduation through the CDS exam.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CDS EXAM
--Graduation from a recognized university
--Age limit if 19-25 years
--You must be Indian
--You must be physically fit.

If you want to join the Indian army as a officer then you can join through the OTS exam.
OTA(Officer Training Academy) exam is specially for the Officers post in the Army.

If you are applying through CDS exam,then there is no percentage criteria for that.You just need to have passed Graduation to be eligible for OTA.As a female you will be eligible for only OTA and not IMA if you want to join Army.Your age limit should be 19-25years. If you want to join in Technical branch as you are a B.tech candidate,you have to apply for SSC Technical.Age limit is 20-27years and qualification required is B.tech in the notified discipline (mostly all the streams of engineering are notified).SSC Technical entry occurs twice a year in the months of December/January and again in June/July.
