SCRA(special class railway apprentices)exam is conducted by UPSC.

In UPSC calender exam is on 12/01/2014.They will announce the notification on 05/10/2013 and last date of receipt of applications is on 04/11/2013.Candidate may apply online by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in


Eligibility conditions:
Age limit:17-21(General Category)
17-24(OBC)
17-26(SC/ST)

Educational Qualification:Plus Two(Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects)

Pattern of written exam:

Paper 1: General Ability-it consist of English,General Knowledge and psychological test
Paper 2:Physical Science-It consist of physics and chemistry
Paper 3:Mathematics

The selected candidates are called for an interview, which is followed by a medical examination.

SCRA stands for SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPERENTICE

you can apply for the exam after 12th class from science stream.
Your age must be in between 17-21 years for the exam.

The SCRA 2013 exam has gone and there is no new notification and the date regarding the SCRA exam is published by UPSC.
so you must have to be in contact with the UPSC website http://www.upsc.gov.in for the latest notification about the exam.

The Important dates regarding the SCRA 2014 exam are:-

--Date of Notification:- October 2013
--Last Date of Apply :-November 2013
--Date of the SCRA Exam:- January 2014

The particular day is not decided by the UPSC for the SCRA exam only the month is given for the exam.
You must passed the 12th class from science stream from a recognized board.
Your age must lies in between 17-21 years.

It will be around 2nd week of November because last year it was 12th Nov
