You must have the following eligibility for the IPS exam:-

>>Graduation from a recognized university in any stream.
>>Age limit is 21-30 years.
>>Relaxation is also given to the OBC and SC/ST candidates.
>>You must be Indian
>>You must e physically as well as mentally fit.

These are the basic Eligibility you must have for the IPS exam.

there are no any special prerequisite for ips examination. actually there is no any examination named as IPS examination . if you have

keen desire to become an IPS officer then you have to give the examination of civil services ,


CS examination is a combined examination for all the government civil service examination.

and to become eligible for the civil services examination you should see the details given below.


Eligibility:-
* the candidate must be a graduate from a govt. recognized university.

* only Indian citizenship holder can apply for the same.

age requirement:-

* for general category:- not before 21 and after 30.

* for obc category:- not before 21 and after 33.

* for sc/st category:- not before 21 and after 35.

Attempts:-

*for general category:-4 only

* for obc category:-7 att.

* for sc/st category:- no limit.

to fill the application form you should keep your eyes on the official website of upsc in the month of January /February because upsc release its notification for the civil services in these months.

and to fill the application form you have to fill the application form online because there is no any other mode of application is accepted by upsc.

hi,
first of all , you clear BA with any subject like , history, economics,etc and english is mandatory and any one regional language.
then your age limit is 21 to 30 years .
and i think you prepare for now to take ips exam ,you will do hardwork , and also take coaching from any best coaching centre .
