Ofcourse you can become IPS officer being from Commerce stream also.

It does not matter at all as to which subjects you have taken in either your class 10+2 or even in your graduation.

So do not waste your single moment in thinking of this that whether you are eligible or not.

Instead start preparing for your exams as you must be knowing that Civil services exam is not a piece of cake walk.

Yes for IPS officer you need to appear for Civil services examination which is conducted by UPSC and is really a very tough exam.

SELECTION CRITERIA:-

1. PRELIMINARY EXAM (CSAT)

2. MAINS EXAM

3. INTERVIEW

You need to work really hard for this exam.

Here below are the eligibility criteria for the exam:-

If you have completed your Graduation or even if you are in your final year you can sit for the exam.

It does not mater which stream you have taken in your school , Or College you just need Graduation degree from a recognized University.

Also No percentage restrictions .if you have passed your Graduation you can appear for the exam.

AGE LIMIT IS THERE AND VARIES CATEGORY WISE:-

GENERAL- 21 TO 30 YRS

OBC- 3 YRS OF AGE RELAXATION.

yes, sir you can become IPS officer being a graduate from commerce field. IPS stands for Indian Police Services. it is one of the top posts of INDIA. for IPS you have to write Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSC every year.

Civil Services Exam is conducted in three phases:

1. CSAT
2. Mains
3. Interview

CSAT is conducted for the eligibility of the Mains exam. and selection is made on the basis of Mains and Interview.

Yes you can if you satisfy certain requirements.... You should posses minimum of a bachelor degree in any course in any college which is approved by government under UGC act... Age limit should be minimum 21 and maximum 30 for OC,33 for MBC, 35 for SC/ST...

Civil services examination conducts by UPSC.

For that exam candidate must be pass his/her graduation from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.

yes my friend, you can become an IPS officer being into any stream, you just need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria for that.
You need to be a graduate in any stream from a recognized indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years of age. Moreover, there is a relaxation of 3 and 5 years given to the obc and the sc/st category students repectively.

You need to be a graduate from any recognized university to be eligible for IPS.You do not need to be from any specific stream.Questions will be from all spheres of education,general awareness and administrative sense.Age limit should be 21-30yrs for General,21-33yrs for OBC and 21-35yrs for SC/ST candidates.Check the website of UPSC for further details at www.upsc.gov.in

YES YOU ARE ELIGIBLE THROUGH COMMERCE STREAM FOR IPS.
The eligibility criteria for applying in IPS is very simple,it is A GRADUATION DEGREE FROM ANY RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY IN ANY STREAM.

Now it is only about the degree in any stream,whether it is commerce or arts.
Even you just need to have minimum percentage that is no percentage requirement,only pass marks is necessary.

You better go through the civil service notification properly and will come to know everything.

You can apply IPS exam if You are Commerce Stream students. IPS exam requires a graduation degree from a recognized university.

Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible.
