Hey

there is lot of money in the IPS post.
This is the highest post in all Indian civil service examinations.
The starting salary of IPS ranges in between 25,000-50,000 rupees per month with the grade pay as well.

So you can earn the maximum salary in IPS post.

For IPS exam you must have graduate degree from recognized university and your age must be in between 21-30 years.

IPS post is very respected post of central Government.

IPS post is given by Clearing IPS exam which is conducted By UPSC.

To become IPS officer, you have to clear these three stages;-

Civil services Preliminary exam , Mains exam and Interview

Starting Salary of IPS exam;-

Junior Time Scale [Pay band-III]

Rs 15,600-39100, grade pay Rs-5,400.

Senior Time Scale [Pay Band-III]

Rs 15,600-39100, grade pay-6,600.

Starting salary of an IPS officer is 15600-39100 +grade pay of 5400.

Rank is Deputy Superintendent of Police.In addition to the salary IPS officers receive various allowance such as Dearness Allowance,Leave Travel Allowance,Medical and Subsidized housing,City compensatory allowance etc.
