CDS exam stands for Combined Defense Service which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

It is nice that you want to join Indian Military Academy through CDS exam.

Age limit for IMA;-

Your age should be between 19-24 years.

IMA requires a graduation from a Indian recognized university in any stream.

Your degree is valid for IMA.

You have to clear these three stages;-

Written exam

SSB interview

physical and medical test

The maximum age is 19 to 24 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying).
Entry in IMA,dehradun is through CDSE(IMA).-Combined Defence Service Examination.

YES YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR APPLYING IN CDSE after completing graduation from IGNOU.

All the degree from every university is valid foe the exam,CDSE.

Hence you apply.
Also study the notification of CDSE to get more ideas.
