in any discipline ,,,,
there is some age relaxation and attempts,,,,
general =21 to 30 and attempts=4
obc=21 to 33 years and attempts=7
sc ,st=21 to 35 and attempts=no limit

Dear friend,

every year in the month of January or February upsc releases its notification for the civil services examination and the

other if you want to take part in the examination then you have to apply for the via online mode because there is no any other mode of

application is accepted by upsc.

so here are the procedure to apply for the same .

1. there are two parts of filling the application form . registration part 1 and registration part-2 .

2. first of all you have to go on the website of upsc for online work ie:- http://www.upsconline.nic.in

3. click here on the part one registration written in front of the civil services examination.

4. fill all the basic details about the yourself in the part-1 registration and then click on submit .

5. now a window will appear to you with the registration no., note it down or take a printout of the page and the chalan .

6. now go to the SBI BANK and give the fee written on the chalan and the banker will give you the transaction ID .

7. now come to your pC again and click on the part-2 registration.

8. now it will ask you to provide the transaction ID to open the part two registration , then provide it .

9. now upload your photo and signature in the right dimension and format as given in the notification of the examination.

10. and then click submit and take a hard copy of the application form and also save a pdf into your computer , it will very helpful in

future correspondence.

but before applying for the examination you should check that whether you are eligible for the same or not??


eligibility required:-

1. the candidate must be a grdaute .

2. the candidate must be an Indian.

age requirement:-

1. for general :- 21-30 years.

2. for obc category: 21-33 years.

3. for sc/st category:-21-35 years.


if you are fulfilling the criteria(s) given above then you are definitely eligible for the same .

The application notification will be released in the month of January/February of every year .
You can check the Announcement of application n "Employment Newspaper " or by official web site of UPSC.

You have to be apply ONLINE mode only by http://upsconline.gov.in
You must required to fill all the details in online form but also Mandatory fields are (*) aster mark sign.
Online application consists of Two (2) parts.

-Part I Registration
-Part II Registration.

1.In Part -I Registration,you have to fill basic information like Name,Date of Birth,Address etc., after filling this registration move to Part -II registration.

2.In Part -II Registration,you have to fill the payment details,uploading of photograph,and scanned signature.
