IPS exam stands for Indian Police services which is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

IPS exam is very tough exam of UPSC which requires very hard work.

Before crack this exam,you have to know Its Eligibility;-

>>You must be passed a bachelor degree from a Indian recognized University in any stream.

There is no percentage Barrier.

Your age should be between 21-30 years.Age relaxation is for reserved category.

You must be citizen of India.

There is Specific Physical standard for IPS exam.

Therefore You must be Physically as well as mentally fit.

IPS exam pattern;-

Preliminary consist Two papers of General studies

Mains exam consist General studies, English and optional subjects etc....

No cut off % in academics just you have to clear the degree.....

Hello ! During Academic qualifications required for both IAS and IPS examinations is Graduation in any discipline from recognized university. There will be a cut off during Graduation is minimum of 35 marks or 40 marks depends on your University regulations for the pass marks. Which means at least passed in Graduation can also liable to apply. Even if you studied Graduation from Open University registered by UGC also eligible. ### Cut off marks mainly required during the examinations conducted by UPSC are only consider during selection Which means you have to be good score in below tests to get Selected as IPS: 1.Preliminary Examination. 2.Mains examination 3.Interview and Personalty Test

To become an IPS officer you need to clear civil services examination which is conducted every year by UPSC.

There is no minimum percentage requirement for this examination.

You age should be between 21 years to 30 years. Relaxation is given to reserved categories as per Govt. norms.

You have to complete your graduation with any subject and any stream.

You get 75% marks on total 9 papers, you will get the IPS Job.

there is not any limited percentage for this , you just cleared graduation , from ugc recognized university.
