Hello

IMA-Indian Military Academy.

It is a entry in Indian Army.

It offers Permanent Commission,a service of 30 yeas in service.

Now UPSC conducts only two exam to give a entry in IMA.

It is named as CDSE and NDA.

Combined Defense Service Examination.

National Defense Academy.

Graduation from any stream required-CDSE

Age limit-19 to 24 years-CDSE

NDA is for only intermediate candidates.

Hence you can apply for IMA through UPSC,but only through CDSE.

yes, sir you can apply for IMA after completing your graduation. or you can also apply for IMA while pursuing in your final year of graduation. IMA stands for Indian Military Academy. for IMA you have to write CDS exam that is conducted by UPSC twice in each year.

for IMA you need graduation degree in any discipline. and for IMA your age must be within 19 years to 24 years. there is no relaxation in age limit for any category.

CDS exam is conducted in two phases:
>>Written
>>SSB

for CDS exam you should be physically and Mentally fit.

Yes you can join indian millitary academy after graduation in any discipline. All you have to do is after graduation apply for the Combined defence services examination conducted by the union public service commssionof india. After applying for the same you need to give the examination and the interview so get ready for that. To apply for the CDS examination you only need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university and also you should not have any criminal records. You need to be unmarried. Your age should be 19 to 24 years to apply for the indian millitary academy. selection procedure- Written examination. SSB interview. Finally medical examination. Friend, IMA stands for INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY. As joining IMA will ultimately way to get entry into Indian Army as officer rank. In order to join IMA, candidate has to compulsorily crack the Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination. UPSC conducts the CDS Examination twice in a year.Eligibility criteria fixed for CDS Examination:# Citizen of India.# Must be in possession of any bachelor degree from any recognised university.# Marital status must be UNMARRIED.# Age limit fixed: * 19-25 years for Officer Training Academy (OTA). * 19-24 years for Indian Military Academy (IMA). * 19-23 years for Air Force Academy (AFA). *19-22 years for Naval Academy (NA).# Candidate must have high degree of physical fitness level.# Candidate must not suffered from any critical or serious disease like cardio-vascular disease, blood pressure, diabetes, varicose veins, arthritis, TB, asthma etc.# Candidate must have eye-sight of 6/6 in good eye and 6/9 in worse eye.# Eye of the candidate must be free from Colour Blindness, Night Blindness, Glucoma, Cataract etc.# Candidate must not have KNOCK KNEE.# Candidate must not have FLAT FEET.THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS OF CDS EXAMINATION IS AS FOLLOWS: * Written examination of objective type with multiple choices. * SSB Interview which is of five days duration in which series of tests like psychological test, picture perception test, group discussion, personal interview etc are conducted. * Medical examination.

Its good to see that you are interested to join IMA.IMA stands for the Indian Military academy .In order to join this academy you will have to crack the Combined defense services examinations that is conducted twice every year by the UPSC .

For the Indian Military academy ,you must have passed your bachelor's degree /graduation from a recognised university with passing % of marks .Final year candidates can also apply for the CDS exams.

So yes you can appear for the CDS exam after completion of your graduation in any desired discipline.

The age limit for the Indian military academy is 19-24 years.

You must be an Indian citizen.

Note: The important dates for the CDS examinations are already over for the year 2013 and now you need to wait for the next year exams for which UPSC will release the notification in upcoming months .

Till then you must prepare for the exams either self or joining any coaching institute like:

1.Disha academy

2.Minerva academy

3Olive Greens

4.Cavalier India.

Go through the previous years papers to get idea about which type of questions are asked.

yes you can join IMA, after completing you admission by cracking an upsc exam which is known as cds- combined defence services. by clearing this examination you are supposed to clear ssb interview and medical test inorder to join IMA (Indian Military Academy).

You can attend UPSC exam if you have completed your Graduation.
You want to join IMA.
Then you have to sit in CDS exam.
Any graduate is eligible to write CDS exam for IMA.
Age limit for IMA is 19-24 years.
You can also write OTA test in CDS.
Age limit: 19-25 years.

You can join the IMA by this exam.
You must have degree from recognized university and your age must lies in between 19-24 years.

I.M.A --- INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY


To go for the "" I.M.A "" you need to give the "" C.D.S "" examination


C.D.S --- COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES

And for that you must have a minimum of GRADUATION or any BACHELOR DEGREE from a recognized university


for that you must have a minimum of " 19 " years

Maximum age is allowed up to " 24 " years
