Solving previous year papers of SCRA exam will be helpful for you in preparation. it will give you the confidence to solve to original paper at the time of exam. with these you also need to study best study material related to exam. for SCRA you need 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. your age should be within 21 to 30 years.
for preparation NCERT books are also good.

ANS : SCRA Stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices and the SCRA examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year

Educational Qualification :

To apply for this examination candidate must have completed 12th examination Or Graduate degree course with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects, Final year Appearing candidates are also apply for This examination.

Age :

To apply for this examination Your age should between 17 to 21 Years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

Examination Pattern for UPSC SCRA examination

Paper I - General Ability Test - English, General Knowledge and Psychological Knowledge - 200 marks

Paper II - Physical Sciences - Physics and Chemistry - 200 Marks

Paper III - Elementary Mathematics - 200 Marks

Next SCRA Examination is possible to be held around January of 2014 so you should prepare because having not more than 4 months to be prepared well for examination
