Yes ,you can appear for IPS exam after MBBS.
For this your age must lies in between 21-30 years.
Relaxation is given to the reserved candidates.

There is no special field for the MBBS in IPS service.
this is same and unique post for all the students who are applying for the examfrom different fields of their education.

hi,
yes you will be appear but you did mbbs so why you not mke carrier in doctor line , as you wish but , there are some restrictions like age and attempts,
general=21 to 30 years
obc=21 to 33
sc,st=21 to 35
ATTEMPTS
general=4
obc=7
sc,st=no limit

Yes you can appear but there is no field regarding medical in IPS because its Indian Police service but you can apply for Combined medical service which will give more importance to your degree and that will be purely based on your field of interest i.e is medical.

YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO BECOME An IPS OFFICER BUT UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO ANY BRANCH IN THE IPS

WHICH IS RELATED TO MBBS OR MEDICAL PROFESSION. I think you have only little knowledge about the examination ,but don't

IPS stands for INDIAN POLICE SERVICES

WHICH MEANS IT IS NOT A MEDICAL SECTOR , AN IPS OFFICER HAVE TH RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN THE LAW AND ORDER IN A

PARTICULAR AREA.

so if you wish to become an ips officer than you can, but if you want to become an IPS officer and work for medical line then it is not

possible according to Indian constitution.


so i advised you to try to become IPS officer and serve the nation as an police officer.


but to become an ips officer only the educational qualification is not enough .you have to satisfies all its need..

* You must be graduate from a GOVT./ugc recognized university


NATIONALITY -:


* You must be a citizen of India


AGE CRITERIA -:


* For general category candidate-: 21 to 30.

* For obc category candidate get three years relaxation .

* For sc/st category candidate get five years relaxation.

* For central govt. servants candidate get five years relaxation.

* For physically handicapped candidates get ten years relaxation .


NO. OF ATTEMPTS -:


* For general candidate -: only 4

* For obc candidate -: only 7

* For sc/st candidate -: no limitation
