    Dear Aspirant!

There is no compulsory condition regarding Languages to be known to candidate.
But, if you are able Read and Write English language will helps you to get success in Examination.
Because Question paper is designed in the languages of Hindi and English languages only.

But also During Mains and Interview session also English language spoken and Written will helps you to get success.

    ### Must complete Graduation to get Eligibility.

As you are 12th standard so, you have more time to prepare and apply..

    Good luck

Hindi is requires as compulsory language to make good impression in PI. IAS officers mostly have to deal with public and govt. both. so they definitely need to know hindi and english for sure and if you know your local language then it is fine but that will not help you while going ahead..

Below is the eligibility criteria is:

    - Graduation (full time regular) from Indian govt. recognized university.

    - Indian citizenship

    - Age of 21 to 30 years.

    - Age relaxation of 3 and 5 years for OBC and SC/ST category.
