Re: Should I leave my government job for IES preparation? I am currently working in a power plant of government sector. I am afraid gentleman that its not a wise decision ... I understand your situation and i know its really very hard for you to organize and get some time for studies from your busy schedule . But you can plan in such a way that you must have your job and simultaneously you have your preparation going on very well... you can arrange your holidays such a way that you get a very good time for your studies like " if you have saturday nd sunday off , you can take friday or monday as holiday " or something like that ... The main thing is all about scheduling yourself in a better and effective way ... and i know you can do it ... so .. do it for yourself and proove it to yourself... good luck .. work harder ..!! Few hard days can make your life beautiful ...

Dear Aspirant, Don't leave your government job. you should feel lucky that atleast you have a government job. Every year millions of aspiring candidate give competitive examination in order to get a small government job. I don't think you need to leave your current Good job in order to give IES Examination. You can do your job and prepare for exam simultaneously. You just need to study hard and have to give full dedication to the examination. You know there are many many candidate who do their MBA while doing their job. So similarly you can also do it if you have passion for the examination. You need to prepare a time table and have to plan your studies. without planning and preparation you won't be able to achieve maximum marks in examination. All the best. Regards.
