* 162 cms FOR INDIAN AIR FORCE

Yes you are eligible according to the age limit as it should be within 16.5 to 19 years....
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible... And Candidate should be an Indian citizen...
So see if you fulfill these criteria's and then apply....

Hi friend...The minimum educational qualification required to apply for NDA exam is intermediate(12th) from recognised institution/university...And the age limit to apply for NDA exam is 16.5-19 years and the candidate must be unmarried...So,it is sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for NDA examination...ALL THE BEST...

NDA exam stands for National Defense Services which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. NDA exam is best exam to join Defence Services.

Now you are studying in 11th standard, therefore you are not Eligible for NDA exam.

To join NDA exam;-

>>You must be passed 12th standard from a recognized board. PCM subjects for Indian air force and Navy.

>>Your age should be between 16.5-19 years.

>>You must be unmarried male candidates.

>>You must be citizen of India.

>>You must be physically as well as mentally fit.

To crack NDA exam, you have to clear these stages;-

>>Written exam of General English, Math and GK.

>>SSB Interview

>>Physical and Medical test

dear aspirants ,

as per your qualification,you can not write for NDA EXAM.because for NDA exam,either you would have completed your 12th or HSC or intermediate or be in 12th standard.

as we all know=through NDA EXAM one can get into

1)indian army
2)indian navy
3)indian air force

for NDA ,here are requirements=

*age limit= born between 02nd January, 1995 to 01st July, 1998 only are eligible for apply

*educational qualification=1) for indian army=12th passed in any stream
2)indian navy and indian air force=12th passed in maths and physics

and even 12th standard students can also apply

*no backlog
*mentally and physically sounds healthy
*free from diseases and disorders
*eye sight=6/6 or 6/12 with or without glasses
*unmarried
*male only (women are not allowed to appear for NDA EXAM)
*must be indian


NDA II=

date of notification=4-05-2013
last date of receipt of application form=3-06-2013
date of exam=4-08-2013

no dear you cannot give the nda examination in class 11th, you can apply for nda examination either you have passed class 12th or you are appearing for 12th examination.

AS PER MY CALCULATIONS ... YOU AGE IS COUNTED AS "" 17 "" YEARS


But you are saying that you ARE IN THE 11TH CLASS


so you are not eligible to apply for the exam Right now


BECAUSE YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 12TH CLASS FROM A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY


EVEN 12TH PURSUING CANDIDATES ARE OF COURSE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE N.D.A EXAM


So you better to prepare for the exam .."" BUT APPLY IT IN THE NEXT YEAR ""

So that it will be beneficial to you and More chances to get succeed


Minimum age allowed is :: " 16.5 " years


Maximum age is :: " 19 " years


Only Unmarried male candidates are also eligible to appear for the N.D.A exam

Friend, presently you are around 17 years old. So your present age is in accordance to the prescribed age limit for NDA Examination. You can apply for NDA Examination.Importance facts regarding NDA Examination are:# EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: * 10+2 in any stream for joining Army Wing. * 10+2 in PCM Stream for joining Airforce or Navy Wing. * Percentage of marks no bar.# Marital Status: Must be unmarried.# Gender/Sex: must be Only Male. Yes friend you can give NDA entrance examination in the year 2014, you are 11th standard student and your DOB is 1996.

NDA(National Defence Academy )entrance exam. is conducted by UPSC 2 times in a year.

NDA Eligibility:-

* A 12th standard from the recognized University can appear NDA entrance exam.

*NDA candidates age must be within 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

* An unmarried Indian male can write NDA entrance examination.

* NDA students' eye sight must be normal 6''/6''.

* The height of the NDA candidate must not less then 157.5 cms.

These are the NDA procedures you can apply for NDA entrance exam.next year.

Hi Dear

First of all, you should note that to appear in NDA Exam conducted by UPSC you should be appearing in 12th or you should have passed 12th exam and you should satisfy other eligibility criteria.

So as it is clear now : you are not eligible to write NDA Exam this year but you can apply for the exam next year.

The academic eligibility criteria for this exam is:
For Army Wing of National Defense Academy : -
12th Class Pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 (Cadet Entry Scheme) at Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

you are definitely eligible for the same according to your age but not eligible according to your class because you are not satisfying both the criteria .


SEE THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO BE FULFILLED BY YOU TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE EXAMINATION.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-


1. the candidate must be 12th passed or appearing from a govt. recognized university.

2. only the Indian candidate are allowed to give the examination.

3. the candidate must be in between 16.5-19 years old.

4. the candidate must be unmarried male , girls are not eligible to give the examination.

5. the candidate must be physically handicapped.


so my friend ,

as you are seeing that have all the qualification required for the examination except
educational qualification .



so My advise is that you should concentrate on completing your higher secondary with good study and

percentage ,even there is no any percentage criteria but to increase your percentage you have to work hard ,
and if you work hard and study deeply so this knowledge will beneficial to you in the examination of NDA & NA.
