    Hello

The UPSC exams is such exams where there is no need to worry about the percentage,it is only the graduation degree which matters and the only passed marks is important.
The every exam that is conducted the criteria is always ,the degree and no percentage.

Actually the process of passing the UPSC exams is very rigorous,so the easiness that they make for the candidates for not asking the percentage they make it up with a multistage selection process. There is no issue regarding the percentage of the candidates in any of the exam, that is conducted by the UPSC.

Hence you are very much eligible for the UPSC exams.

Re: Am I eligible to appear in UPSC exams after getting low percentage in BCA?

Dear you have not mentioned that for which exam do you want to apply for but you should not get any problem because UPSC board has never been required percentage marks in 12th or degree or PG for any competitive exam means if you have passed a degree from a recognized university then you are eligible to appear for civil services exams and the same pattern follows in other exams which required different eligibility criteria so that you should not worry about that and prepare for your exams carefully because you are eligible and if you want to apply for civil service exams then you should apply for this exam between following date after having following eligibility criteria :

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age would be provided as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

Start date for online application - 02-02-2013

Last date for online application - 04-03-2013

Date for UPSC prelims exam - 19-05-2013

Dear if possible then you should join any coaching institute for your preparation but there is no more time left to prepare for this exam so that you would have to be strict about your study yourself and provide more and more time for your study only and if you are giving at least 15 hours everyday for your study concentratively then you may easily get selected for the preliminary exam and appear for mains exam and after qualifying prelims you would get about 4 months to prepare for mains exam which are enough to get qualified in various 9 papers but dear you would have to qualify in each mains paper to get the call for interview and qualifying marks would be decided by the UPSC board and it found changed every year so that you should prepare hard and try to score about 80% then you will get 70% marks in the UPSC board examination and after qualifying the interview process which is conducted for personality test, you would become an IAS officer in India.

There aren't any any share demand mentioned by UPSC in their criteria list .
the sole factor mention that one ought to done their graduation from any recognized university .
however if you get minimum five hundredth then it's enough for giving the test and alternative test additionally , however if you bought but five hundredth than it'll bother you in alternative competitive test as a result of is also you're not eligible for that test .
therefore five hundredth is needed .
The UPSC conducts numerous All-India level open competitive examination each year. The essential qualification is to pass or seem the ultimate year examination of Bachelors degree in any stream at any recognized University. there's no restriction of share within the marks. solely the pass candidate are eligible to seem the examination. therefore do not hassle regarding the proportion and exerting for the examination.

UPSC is Union Public Service commission.
And this conducts several examination nearly regarding fourteen examinations each year. And most of the examinations ar straightforward to crack and UPSC doesn't hassle regarding the proportion of marks. however in several government sectors demands over five hundredth of marks in your graduation level further as in tenth and twelfth normal.

    Hi dear

UPSC Exams do not require specific marks or percentage with degree as academic eligibility.

They just require that you should have passed the degree course irrespective of percentage of marks you scored.

So even after low percentage of marks in BCA you are eligible for the UPSC Exams which require graduation degree as minimum academic eligibility.

You are eligible for the following Exams:

    1.
    Combined Defence Services Examination
    2.Civil Services Examination
3.Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination

If you are interested in more details about each of these Exams; you can refer to: http://www.upsc.gov.in

Re: Am I eligible to appear in UPSC exams after getting low percentage in BCA?

    Hello friend,

UPSC is Union Public Service commission.

And this conducts many examination nearly about 14

    examinations

every year. And most of the examinations are easy to crack

and UPSC does not bother about the percentage of marks.

But in many government sectors demands more than 50% of

marks in your graduation level as well as in 10th and 12th

    standard.

UPSC only see the pear of passing i.e are you eligible for

applying in the examination or not.

The age limit criteria is as follows:

-->For general category candidates the age limit ranges
    from 21 to 30 years

-->For SC/ST candidates the age limit ranges from 21 to
    35 years

-->For OBC candidates the age limit ranges from 21 to
    33 years.

    All the best.............
